The team behind AAPE By A Bathing Ape is back just in time for warmer weather with the release of its AAPENOW Spring/Summer 2021 collection. The line — an offshoot of the iconic streetwear label — promises slick, pared-down silhouettes in a range of fresh colors like olive green, dream blue, and cream. Every item features its reimagined moon-face logo on a collection of trend-oriented everyday staples.

Since its inception in 2012, AAPE has been delivering clothes to a younger audience with a keen eye for streetwear. This latest SS21 collection is no exception.

The emphasis is on simplicity this time around. The Japanese brand has opted for a minimalist aesthetic with an array that offers loose, comfortable unisex options meant to be matched together or mixed with other pieces. The dropped shoulder coach jackets call to mind weather gear and bring an outdoor feel. While many of the clothes veer classic — shorts, shirts, polos — there’s an ease and wearability to the line that makes it covetable for summer.

The SS21 line features accompanying accessories, like hats and cross-body bags, in corresponding colors. The bags come emblazoned with the logo and the AAPENOW label stretched across the straps.

Shop the AAPE SS21 collection here and in stores at 443N Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles, and 340 Lafayette Street, New York.
