adidas is expected to expand its revolutionary 4D lineup this year, bringing the 3D-printed midsole to new silhouettes such as the Kick. This week, we're getting our first look at the all-new Three Stripes model, courtesy of on-foot imagery from insider @yankeekicks.

According to @yankeekicks, adidas' forthcoming 4D shoe is called the 4D Kick. While little is known about the sneaker at this time, we see that it features the brand's signature 4D midsole technology in Aero Green, albeit exclusively at the heel. Up front, adidas opts for more traditional midsole tooling, which some have said is Boost, although it doesn't appear to be Boost foam to us.

Nonetheless, the 4D Kick emerges in an olive green colorway, seemingly crafted from mesh on the upper. Black Three Stripes branding provides a touch of contrast on the side, matching the panel at the heel, as well as the rubber outsole. Additional adidas iconography can be found on the tongue. Tonal laces then accompany the pair to complete the design.

With 4D utilized solely at the heel, it's likely the 4D Kick will release at a lower price point than most other 4D sneakers. Expect to hear more about the brand new adidas model in the weeks and months ahead, as the shoe is rumored to be launching at some point this year.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our new ZX 8000 Collab with the Three Stripes.
