adidas Originals dropped the brand new TRESC RUN sneaker exclusively at Foot Locker Europe recently and our in-house photography team has cast a new light on the silhouette in a unique shoot celebrating the sought after release. The shoot comes after adidas opened the TRESC RUN garage in Berlin which held a celebratory launch event that offered guests custom tune-ups of their cars and kicks.
For its latest design, adidas Originals once again delved into its archive and looked to the ‘90s for inspiration. The result combines iconic ‘90s motifs such as the flame insignia on the sides with adidas' latest and greatest performance and comfort technology such as the BOOST midsole.
The TRESC RUN makes additional nods to ‘90s sneaker design with a mesh upper featuring suede and leather overlays as well as reflective 3-stripes. The shoe’s aggressive lines and patterns pay homage to some of adidas’ most dynamic running silhouettes of yesteryear including 2014's Temper Run. The BOOST midsole is finished with a newly developed TPU plug-in resembling the signature TRESC RUN “flame”, beneath is a multicolored rubber outsole. For its inaugural release, the TRESC RUN has dropped in two essential colorways, black and grey.
To mark the shoe’s launch, adidas Originals and Foot Locker Europe opened the TRESC RUN garage in the heart of Berlin's Kreuzberg district. Action Bronson played host, chef, and performer as guests were invited to enjoy live music performances, food and drink, and customization stations customizing people's kicks, rides, and even bodies with tats and haircuts.
