Skateboarding is the topic of conversation everywhere right now following the sport's debut in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and with all eyes watching, adidas Originals has teamed up with skate legend Dennis Busenitz to celebrate 15 years of collaboration.

“In a world of 15 seconds, 15 years is truly something special,” said Busenitz, also adding that he's looking forward to continuing to his work with adidas Skateboarding, "through traveling, skating and making good shoes.” The sportswear giant launched adidas Skateboarding in 1998, working with both professional and amateur skateboarders to develop the best pieces for the sport.

Revealing the Busenitz Indoor Super, adidas has drawn inspiration from an iconic indoor squash model from the 80s, and reimagined it with high-performance elements needed for skateboarding. Sporting a perforated suede upper that is durable and flexible, mixed with nylon overlays and a canvas tongue, the shoe is optimized for a secure and comfortable fit. The upper comes in an all-black hue, contrasted with the signature Three Stripes in metallic gold, a gum sole, and "X" and "V" in serrated red detailing on the heel to commemorate the 15-year legacy.

The adidas Skateboarding x Busenitz Indoor Super is set to release on August 7 online, as well as at select skate retailers, and will retail at $100. If you can't skate at the Olympics, you might as well dress the part.
