DIY Designers Reimagine the Sole Fury for Reebok’s Advanced Concepts Project

Key Features: Helen Kirkum’s Sole Fury stitches features from the Instapump Fury onto the upper, giving the sneaker a patchwork look. Kirkum’s designs come in three colorways, with inside-out detailing and improvised lacing systems. The 1KCORP design takes a mismatched approach, with different colored uppers featuring a mesh base covered in deconstructed leather overlays. The Kanghyuk design is yet to be unveiled.

Buy: The shoes will be available in Shanghai, Tokyo, and Los Angeles, with 1KCORP’s version exclusive to Nubian Tokyo. Release information for the other silhouettes TBC.
Editor’s Notes: As part of its #SplitFrom campaign, Reebok's Advanced Concepts project has partnered with three DIY designers to launch an exclusive run of handmade, deconstructed Sole Fury sneakers. The designers involved are Helen Kirkum, 1KCORP, and Kanghyuk.
The first capsule to appear in public was Kirkum’s mashup of the Instapump Fury and the Sole Fury, which was recently unveiled on the runway at Shanghai Fashion Week. Check out a detailed look at her creation above.
1KCORP’s official product imagery is now available to preview in the gallery below. An earlier Instagram post teasing the images has in fact confirmed the collaboration will drop at Nubian Tokyo on April 13.
