When the AirPods Max dropped a couple of years ago, we knew Apple had a hit on its hands — more like over its head and ears. Apple's foray into over-ear headphones was not only praised for its technical capabilities but its stylishness as well.

Indeed, the AirPods Max became TikTok's favorite fashion accessory, and spawned some cool ear covers like crochet takes and metal spiderwebs. Now, the fashion-ification of theAirPods Max continues with handbags molded in its glory.

Italian designer and PDF Channel founder Domenico Formichetti recently teased PDF's Proto bags, which arrive as handbags inspired by the AirPods Max's design.

Seriously, the handle resembles the Apple headphones' head strap, while the bag's sides take on the shape of the ear pods. Don't let the cool look fool you, though: this ain't a case for your AirPods — it's a handbag for the living.

The Proto accessory even features a PDF-branded clasp, opening up to a component just for your valuables and thus, bringing the concept all together. There weren't any noticeable pockets inside, judging by other glimpses. But who cares? It's still a major want.

The Proto bag comes in a few colors like mint green/pink, orange/cream, sky blue/navy blue, and pink/cream. Designer SFERO, who helped design the Proto bag with PDF, also teased a camouflage iteration.

SFERO is no stranger to the world of AirPods Max accessories. Before teaming up with PDF for the Proto bag, the designer dabbled in urchin-level accessories for Apple's coveted headphones.

There's no telling when we'll see the PDF Proto bags released (if ever). But looking at the amount of "NEED" and fire emojis in the comments, it's safe to say the people would love to see a drop happen.
