It's been a long wait but the first full trailer for the second season of Netflix‘s hit sci-fi show, Altered Carbon, is finally here, and it shows protagonist Takeshi Kovacs as we've never seen him before.

As the short clip makes clear, this time around Kovacs is wearing an Anthony Mackie "sleeve," rather than the Joel Kinnaman edition we met in season one. With this upgraded "re-sleeve," Kovacs is now more combat proficient than he was before — he now has the ability to call his guns to his hands at will.

As Netflix describes it, this season will follow the planet-hopping interstellar warrior "recruited back to his home planet of Harlan’s World with the promise of finding [his love interest] Quell."

After a lengthy two-year wait, Altered Carbon returns this month on February 27. Check out the trailer below.
