Apple and Beats by Dre have officially announced a retail price of $149.95 for the new Powerbeats earbuds, initially referred to as the Powerbeats 4.

An updated version of the Powerbeats 3, the Powerbeats look noticeably similar to the previous iteration, featuring a new angled earpiece somewhat reminiscent of the Powerbeats Pro. The earbuds then incorporate a cord that connects to the ear hook for a more natural fit around the neck.

Users can utilize playback controls on each of the earbuds to adjust volume, skip tracks, play and pause music, accept incoming calls, and more. The Powerbeats also boast hands-free Siri support and an H1 chip for improved pairing.

The earbuds, which come with a Lightning cable as opposed to a charging case, will last for 15 hours on a single charge, as you can also take advantage of a five-minute Fast Fuel feature, which gives you an hour of playback after a quick five-minute charge.

Much like the Powerbeats Pro‌, the Powerbeats are IPX4 water resistance-rated, meaning they can withstand sweat and splashes of water.

Priced $50 cheaper than the Powerbeats 3, the $149.95 Powerbeats release in white, black, and red colorways on March 18. Take a closer look at the three colorway options below.
