For the Alpha SV, GORE-TEX PRO is the protective element of choice. The jacket is Arc'tery's most durable piece of outerwear, designed for use in severe alpine conditions (SV). Basically, if you're getting battered by wind and snow while climbing, you'll probably want to be wearing one of these.

As one of the brand's flagship products, the jacket has undergone a seasonal evolution over the last twenty-plus years since its launch in 1998.
