Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak is releasing in a Jumbo Extra-Thin version with diamond-set hour markers. Optioned in platinum and rose gold iterations, the watch is launching in limited edition runs with limited geographical distribution.

Both the platinum and rose gold models boast a black onyx dial with diamond indexes. As HODINKEE points out, diamond hour markers have become increasingly rare, while Audemars Piguet watches with only diamond indexes are even more uncommon.

The Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin features caliber 2121 movement, manual and automatic winding, and a power reserve of 40 hours. The watch incorporates 36 jewels in total and is water resistant to 50 meters.

Limited to 70 units in platinum and 30 units in rose gold, you'll be able to try for the timepiece at AP retailers such as Yoshida in Tokyo. Pricing for the platinum version is available upon request, while the rose gold retails for $61,200.
