Awake NY, No Company, and their peers were mobilized to respond to the disaster with a special T-shirt sold by pre-order on Awake NY's web store for $60.

All proceeds from the shirt's sales will benefit Until Freedom, Gambian Youth Organization, and Miss Abbie’s Kids, non-profits providing food and essentials to survivors and underserved people living in The Bronx.

Emblazoned with special artwork from Shirt King Phade on the front, the charitable shirt also sports the names of like-minded companies that're co-signing the endeavor on its rear.

Partners include Fear of God, Denim Tears, Just Don, Union LA, Luar, Shaniqwa Jarvis, HOT97, Scarr's Pizza, and plenty more

This equitable effort speaks to Awake NY's community-driven ethos, though the focus of the fundraising effort is clearly on those receiving aid rather than any of the parties supporting it.

Over the past few years, creative director Angelo Baque has guided similar efforts with Ghetto Gastro — which is also supporting this Bronx Fire T-shirt — and Election Reform!.

Baque took similar tact with the postponed Social Studies event series, which brought together Baque's contemporaries and crowd of youthful fans in an annual celebration of ingenuity.
