A rather modest description, Old Town's "evolving range of everyday clothing" represents a meeting of old and new. Based in Norfolk in the East of England, the label takes classic British workwear as its starting point, covering men's and women's essentials from jackets to shirts to trousers to sweaters. Careful to avoid the nostalgia trap, the brand are quick to point out that this is clothing to be worn rather than costume to play dress-up. While Old Town head-to-toe might transport you directly to days gone by, each individual piece is designed to work perfectly with any of your existing layers. The fact is, you can't go too far wrong with a simple three button work jacket or a basic pull-on shirt. Cleverly, each piece is made to order and available in a range of fabrics from satisfyingly thick corduroys and moleskins to lighter cotton twills and 12oz denims.  In this short film, Old Town's Miss Willey offers a little insight into the label and a peek inside the Holt workshop.
