Bode

After revealing its debut sneaker with Nike earlier this year, Bode, the eponymous label of Emily Adams Bode Aujla, has shared of a second follow-up collaboration.

And, guess what? Yup, it’s even better than the first.

Returning to Nike’s retro-looking Astro Grabber silhouette, an evolution of a style first designed by the Swoosh's Bill Bowerman in the early 1970s, Bode presents a cream-colored iteration of the same shoe that even comes equipped with cute beaded laces.

Building on the still-unreleased black and white colorway Bode and Nike revealed back in January, the pair's newest Nike Astro Grabber bears all the same details as its predecessor, but with a few slight variations.

Instead of the leather upper found on the black and white Astro Grabber, for instance, Bode's second Nike sneaker boasts a breathable canvas upper atop the Waffle outsole.

The shoe's lightweight build and creamy colorway makes for a much more summer-friendly sneaker all round, which is handy considering it'll eventually release this spring at Nike and Bode for $160, just in time for summer.

Murmurs of a Bode and Nike collaboration have been bubbling away since mid-2023 and, even now, nothing the pair has made has actually released.

And while an exact date for the release of the pair's cream Astro Grabber hasn't been shared, it has been confirmed that it'll drop some time this spring – which is something, I suppose.

Though Bode's Fall/Winter 2024 collection didn't introduce any noticeable collaborative clothing, it's still being strongly rumored that Bode's Nike debut will arrive with a slew of apparel and accessories too, which would be nice.

Then again, beggars can't be choosers, so perhaps any sort of Bode x Nike release will do for now?
