Double Tap to Zoom

The 62nd Grammy Awards took place last night, with Tyler, the Creator winning Best Rap Album for IGOR and Billie Eilish taking home a historic number of awards in the form of best song, best newcomer, best album, and so forth. While the event is a celebration of music, naturally the attendee's fashion choices attracted an equal amount of attention, too.

The concept of a traditional "red carpet look" has shifted quite dramatically in the last few years, as the ensembles from last night only prove. There was a hot pink Versace cowboy outfit (replete with hot pink leather harness) from Lil Nas X, motorized headwear from Billy Porter, a pink Wes Anderson-inspired outfit from Tyler, the Creator that bordered on cosplay, and as a reproach to designer fashion, Lana Del Rey wore a silver dress which she copped at the mall and cinched in at the waist.

However, K-Pop band BTS showed up looking like an actual campaign for Bottega Veneta in an ensemble of turtlenecks, trench coats, and blazers in a classic palette of black, white, and beige. It was an almost too perfect co-ordinated look, but it worked.

Bottega Veneta's creative director Daniel Lee (formerly of Phoebe Philo's Celine) has a knack for designing forward-thinking clothing that's actually wearable, and you can recreate the effect with a selection of Bottega's pieces below.
