A few months back, CAMPERLAB dropped its quirky Tormenta sneakers, flaunting that curvy lacing system. Camper’s sub-label is known for its experimentalism and how it flips the script on conventional designs in search of creating unique and unexpected sneakers. Now, the brand has expanded on its Tormenta line with two new colorways – black and white, or white and black, take your pick.

In Spanish, ‘tormenta’ means ‘storm;’ and it’s no coincidence that CAMPERLAB went for this name. The new runner-inspired design draws inspiration from nature’s untamed beauty and ever-changing landscapes. The result is a sneaker with dynamic outlines and a bold, fluid outsole that wraps organically around the sides of the shoe. An Ortholite-shaped footbed offers that much-needed cushioning and comfort.

CAMPERLAB also looks to nature when it comes to materials. The upper is made of plant-based fiber and HyphaLite™, a regenerative compound spawned from mushrooms, and is topped off with leather alternative MIRUM®, making it free from the clutches of plastic. To add to that, the lining is bamboo-based and the laces are woven from wood pulp. That’s CAMPERLAB, always pushing for innovation.
