Editor’s Notes: For the Fall/Winter 2019 season, outerwear expert Canada Goose launches the limited edition Branta collection. With Branta, Canada Goose aims to work seasonally with creative partners on textile, color, print and fabric innovation.

The theme of the inaugural collection is Glacial Shifts, inspired by activist artist, Diane Burko. Burko used art to capture reality, documenting the disappearance of glaciers through a series of large-scale photographs and paintings. Canada Goose reimagined a print from her “Elegy Series” to create two reversible motifs featured in the collection; one inspired by the blue hues of the water and the other featuring the sharp whites of ice.

Branta's Fall/Winter 2019 collection is comprised of convertible coats and features include Loro Piana wool and adjustable functions. The six styles are all named after glaciers: Viedma 4-in-1 Coat ($2,695), Atavist Coat ($2,250), Leduc Parka ($1,795), and Berendon Parka ($1,395).
