Carhartt WIP might not be the first brand that comes to mind when you think of running, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t get involved in the action.

To celebrate the launch of Progress Running Club’s new location, Carhartt WIP has teamed up with the London-based collective for an exclusive co-branded capsule comprising graphic T-shirts and super chunky hoodies.

Founded over 20 years ago, Progress Running Club opened its first store in North London in 2021. Stocking outdoor and contemporary sports labels, as well as running apparel, the brand, which is inspired by nostalgic 80s running culture, recently expanded operations as far as Japan.

Now, though, to celebrate its latest East London outpost on Commercial Street, PRC and Carhartt WIP have united for a collaboration that officially releases on April 11.

Although PRC’s new location will serve predominantly as a store that sells great-looking running-inspired clothes, it’ll also be the HQ for the brand’s new weekly run club.

“At Progress Running Club, every step forward is progress and every hurdle overcome is a triumph,” said PRC founder, Mark Batista.

“Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or just lacing up for the first time, our club welcomes you with open arms.”
