Louis Vuitton has officially announced Spanish tennis star Carlos Alacraz as its newest house ambassador.

The 20-year-old is the second tennis player in recent years to have joined the French label's ranks, that's after Naomi Osaka became an LV girlie back in 2021.

To be frank, Alcaraz's luxury signing has been a long-time coming. If LV didn't pull the trigger, another brand would've. During his short stint as a professional thus far, he's achieved more than most would in their entire career.

Here's a quick run down: at just 19 he became tennis’ youngest ever world number one ranked player and the first teenager in the Open Era to top the men's rankings. That on top of winning the US Open in 2022, plus 11 ATP Tour-level singles titles, and being the face (and body) of a Calvin Klein ad earlier this year.

Now though, as of June 28, you can add LV House Ambassador to Alcaraz’s ever-growing list of accolades.

“The truth is that I feel very proud. You could even say it’s a dream for me to now be a part of the Louis Vuitton family,” said Alcaraz of his new ambassadorship.

As well as Osaka, Alacraz also joins the likes of Zendaya, South Korean actor Song Joong-ki at the French maison as recent house additions.

For Alcaraz, this announcement marks the beginning of a busy few months for the world number one, who is set to compete in this season’s Grand Slam Tour, starting with Wimbledon on July 3, where he’ll be bidding to go further than his fourth round departure in 2022.

Still, no matter the outcome this summer, at least he’s a Louis Vuitton ambassador (or should we say Grand Sl-ambassador?!).
