Double Tap to Zoom

Chance the Rapper joined forces with Ralph Lauren to bring fans a digital performance. Airing last night, September 14 at 9 p.m. EST, the concert was pre-recorded at the Ralph Lauren flagship store in Chance's hometown of Chicago.

“Music and fashion to me have always been interlinked," the rapper said. "Ralph Lauren has always been one of my favorite designers, right by my side for some of my favorite moments in my career and personal life. This intimate virtual concert ties together all the greatest events of my life and allows me to sing about them the way I always wanted to.”

Ahead of the show, which was available to stream globally on Chance's and Ralph Lauren's social channels, fans got a preview of what to expect by exploring an interactive augmented reality waiting room on Snapchat. The experience was set in a virtual Ralph Lauren space that allowed you to unlock numerous interactions. Select aspects offer a look back at Chance's standout career, all while ushering in the digital performance.

This isn't the first time Chance the Rapper has collaborated with Ralph Lauren, however. Back in 2016, Chance donned an RRL shirt on the cover of his acclaimed mixtape, Coloring Book.
