Oklahoma’s Transformation Church has done more than its bit to ensure its constituents have a positive end to the year. During last Sunday’s service, Pastor Michael Todd announced that the church had bought out Tulsa, Oklahoma-based sneaker store, Silhouette USA’s, entire stock for $65,000 and would be donating it to the Tulsa Boys’ Home.

Pastor Todd is a New York Times best-selling author and has around 1.3 million followers on Instagram. Following the charitable donation — which benefits both the store and the boys receiving the shoes — Todd said, “We are now giving shoes to the Tulsa Boys' Home to be able to take exclusive shoes and give them to people that may not ever otherwise have an opportunity to own something like that.”

Silhouette USA is a consignment store that resells hyped sneakers ranging from Off-White™ x Nike to adidas YEEZYs. “I was in shock, I didn’t believe him,” store owner Venita Cooper told a local TV station. “I was like, ‘Am I being punked?”

In addition to spending $65,000 on shoes, the church also made nearly $3.5 million in donations that went towards paying off homes, cars, and student loans, as well as helping victims of sex trafficking and addiction.
