adidas is starting the Lunar New Year off with a bang. Well, more of a pow.

The adidas Qi Flow sneaker is yet another hard-hitting collaboration from CLOT and the Three Stripes. This time, the duo decided to blend elements of the kung fu slipper with CLOT's aptitude for espadrilles, and the result is what might be one of the best sneakers of the year.

An early contender for sure, but a front runner nonetheless. Watch this space!

The Qi Flow — “qi” is a term in Chinese medicine that refers to vital energy — is an all-new silhouette. What better way to bring in the new year than with a brand spanking new adidas shoe? The Qi Flow's upper unfurls as a slipper-esque sneaker with frog closures throughout, designed to resemble the pankou fastenings of a traditional Tang suit.

This knotted detailing is heightened with a pearlized adornment that gives the Qi Flow a sprinkle of well-placed elegance. And, of course, it wouldn't be an adidas and CLOT collab without an espadrille-style outsole.

Soon available on the adidas website for $120, the Qi Flow is a part of adidas' Lunar New Year 2026 collection, which pays homage to Chinese heritage. Beyond being a respectfully good-looking shoe, adidas Qi Flow is a wearable homage to the culture that inspired it.
