Editor’s Notes: The partnership between Nike and Rei Kawakubo's COMME des GARÇONS is a tale as old as time. The two have cooked up some of the most abstract sneakers to date, including the sky-high platform Cortez, the Shox with an accompanying logo chain, as well as the Swoosh heels.

For its latest collaboration, CDG has reimagined the Nike Premier, giving it an unconventional touch by adding a little kitten heel. Yes, you read that right.

Recently, it seems as football has become a big inspiration in fashion, with Miu Miu debuting football heels, Balenciaga crafting its own boots, and now COMME des GARÇONS cementing its influence in the Nike Premier. It also comes just after Nike brought back its iconic football silhouette, the 1971.

Available in both black and white colorways, the shoe is exclusively available at Dover Street Market, and retails at £475.

Fans were recently angry about the $300 price tag on the CDG x Nike Foamposites, so there's no doubt that these will stir up some drama.
