Yes, Converse has dropped chunky trekking boots before (and they were pretty cool efforts, I might add). But what makes the new Converse All Trekwave boot so special is its incredibly sturdy construction.

Converse's latest boot boasts a durable Cordura build, which wraps the shoe in a military-trusted, nylon-like fabric designed to resist wear and tear. These Converse boots are built to last, baby.

Cordura, along with GORE-TEX, has become an extremely popular material in the sneaker world, adding a more practical element to popular shoes like the adidas Spezial and New Balance 1906R. Plus, it just sounds and looks cooler.

But back to the Converse boots. The Trekwave shoes come in two solid colorways: black and coyote. The latter is basically an army green, highlighting the material's military-grade quality.
