The logical step for sneakerheads when fall and winter set in is to opt for a GORE-TEX iteration of their favorite silhouette. That said, this summer saw a revolution in men’s footwear with loafers and mules barging their way into the spotlight as sneaker hype reached something near terminal velocity. Dior’s footwear designer Thibo Denis has been working overtime lately. If you’re one of his 80,000 Instagram followers, you’ll have become accustomed to regular sneak peeks at the house’s upcoming footwear collections. From padded mules to on-trend sneakers, Denis’ feed is a strong argument for Dior being the leader of luxury footwear, and one of the unorthodox highlights lately was a pair of Dior Snow Boots.

A rugged, hybrid sole unit promises comfort and all-terrain credentials while the upper is more luxurious. A calfskin mudguard protects signature Dior Oblique technical fabric which reaches up past the ankle. Wide laces run wide across the vamp before wrapping around the back of the ankle and fastening with a toggle at the shin.
