Double Tap to Zoom

Kim Jones debuted his first collection for Dior over the weekend, and here we have a look at some of the details from the luxury label's showroom in Paris.

Dior's SS19 show was centered around a sculpture made of flowers by KAWS, who was commissioned by the brand to imbue his signature design into the classic Dior bee motif. This Dior x KAWS project indicates the merging of streetwear and fashion for a new hybrid of luxury garments, and as the above gallery demonstrates, Dior's SS19 collection has nailed the balance.

We've zoomed in on the form-fitting satchel-like leather sidebags, the painted-on denim, the cream tailoring and lastly, the commissioned project with Matthew Williams, whose industrial belt-buckle was used throughout the collection.

Get close and personal with Kim Jones' vision in the gallery above and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
