A sample pair of Drake’s scrapped Nike Air Jordan 4 “Multicolor” has made its way to auction via famed auction house Sotheby's. The sneaker in question was initially teased by Drake in fall 2017 before his relationship with Nike reportedly ended and the rapper was close to signing with adidas.

As a result, the Air Jordan 4s were never released, leading many sneakerheads to believe that the release had been scrapped entirely. As part of Sotheby’s historic lot of over 120 hip-hop-related items, a size 11 (Drake’s size) of the “Multicolor” AJ4s are now up for auction. At the time of writing the highest of 7 bids is $19,000.

The “Multicolor” Nike Air Jordan 4s were originally an unreleased sample in 1989, whereas this pair features slightly different details, such as the OVO owl beneath the heel tabs, and OVO/6-God branding beneath the insoles.
