Ferrari Is Dressing for Pole Position
The British Grand Prix, one of Formula 1’s most iconic events, is looming on the horizon, and we find ourselves once again not only anticipating the race but also the fashion that will be present all along the pit lane. The sport’s style evolution has been impossible to ignore over the past few seasons: the paddock has become a destination for luxury labels, streetwear brands, photographers, and fashion editors, with pit lane walks now generating almost as much buzz on social media as qualifying laps. The lines between motorsport and fashion have never been blurrier, and Ferrari is one of the few brands that genuinely belongs in both worlds.
It's only fitting that, ahead of the British Grand Prix, Ferrari is dropping a capsule collection designed for exactly this moment. The collection is a natural extension of everything Ferrari stands for—blending the iconic Italian motorsport heritage with classic craftsmanship, while also embracing a more thoughtful approach to fashion through circular design and material reuse. The collection tells two stories, and both feel right at home during one of Formula 1's biggest weekends.
The first part of the narrative sees Ferrari take inspiration from Britain and the Union Jack, working with its symbolic red, white and blue hues across a selection of limited-edition pieces. The line-up includes graphic T-shirts and baseball caps elevated with exclusive Ferrari embroidery, alongside a classic leather Prancing Horse keychain, as well as braided-cord keychains made using recycled silk from its own Shelley scarves.
That idea of reusing materials really comes into focus in the second half of the capsule, which revolves around the brand’s Reconditioned by Ferrari project. Instead of starting from scratch, the initiative gives garments and accessories from previous collections a new life. For car lovers, think of it kind of like giving a classic Ferrari a meticulous restoration.
The palette shifts into rich, structured cuoio leather tones, deep Nero Purosangue, and Ferrari's signature shade of red, giving everything a more elevated, almost collector's-item feel. Leather jumpsuits and outerwear are hand-airbrushed layer by layer, creating a finish that's unique to every single piece. Each garment is finished with a leather tag stamped with the Ferrari logo and the historic Maranello address, adding another layer of storytelling for anyone who appreciates the brand's heritage.
The collection’s denim pieces follow the same philosophy. Matching jackets and trousers feature weathered finishes created through corrosive dyeing and garment overdyeing techniques, giving every piece its own character. To keep you in Ferrari from head to toe, there's the retro runner sneaker, updated with suede, hand-buffed leather, nappa leather, and subtle circuit-inspired graphics that quietly nod back to Ferrari's racing DNA.
The capsule is available from July 1 through Ferrari's online store and selected boutiques worldwide, with a special spotlight on the London flagship during British Grand Prix week.
