The collaboration consist of limited edition watches, designed specifically with band members 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs in mind, and will utilize the brand's classic 5600 model.

While the watches have not been revealed yet, both G-SHOCK and Gorillaz have produced a series of animated videos teasing the line, with episode one Mission M101 featured above. The theme of the visual focuses on G-Shock creator Mr. Ibe realizing a lifelong dream, and devising a plan to reach their intergalactic goals.

Stay tuned for part two soon and for more details on the collab dropping this winter, head over to G-SHOCK's website.

Also, in case you missed it, Gorillaz dropped a psychedelic new video for their single “Tranz.”
