Gramophones are record players developed during the latter end of the 1800's to play back recorded music. For the first time, music could be heard and appreciated in the privacy of homes everywhere, pressed onto gramophone records that sounded mediocre at best when compared to high-resolution audio available today. Regardless, the look of the gramophone horns became iconic showpieces for another quarter century.

Today, the look of the gramophone is celebrated through the Gramavox, a gramophone Bluetooth speaker with a classic retro look and sound that's clean and crisper than the original. Gramovox is portable with 15 hours of playback and charging via micro-USB. Initially a Kickstarter project, now in production and available for $400. Add it to your living room or home office.
