This October, one of the most haunting horror figures of all-time is returning to the big screen, as Blumhouse presents 2018's Halloween.

Michael Myers is out to finish what he started 40 years prior, following his escape from a mental institution. Jamie Lee Curtis then reprises her role as Laurie Strode, as she will ultimately experience her final confrontation with the masked murderer who has been haunting her for decades.

John Carpenter, Jason Blum, and Malek Akkad are executive producers for Halloween, written by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, with Green also directing. Judy Greer, Will Patton, and Omar Dorsey star alongside Curtis, as the slasher/horror film is due in theaters October 19.

In other movie news, ‘The Girl in the Spider’s Web’ finds Lisbeth Salander back in action.
