Heron Preston is not one to shy away from an unlikely collaboration. When he first debuted at Paris Men's Fashion Week in 2016, Preston took the fashion world by storm with his collaboration with the NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY), which featured a series of zero waste-themed apparel and accessories.

More recently, the designer joined forces with yet another public agency. This time, Preston's namesake brand linked up with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to celebrate the organization's 60th anniversary. While its DSNY collaboration took inspiration from a plastic bag that brushed against Preston while swimming in the ocean, the latest collab with NASA takes inspiration from another kind of waste — space waste.

You may not have known, but NASA actually has an entire program dedicated to orbital debris, which researches and tracks man-made space debris currently orbiting our planet, including everything from broken satellites to tool bags and even Lego.

The capsule's highlight pieces are without doubt the high-tech parkas (which are selling out fast), as well as metallic astronaut jacket and high-tech trousers to match. The line also includes hoodies, sweatpants, tees, hats, and socks.

Take a look at our favorites from the capsule below, and click through to cop something out of this world.
