Nickelodeon’s wacky animated series from the early 2000s, Invader Zim, is back thanks to Netflix. This week we get our first look at creator Jhonen Vasquez's new Invader Zim film, Enter the Florpus.

Enter the Florpus finds Zim losing confidence in himself for the first time ever after he learns that his mighty leaders have no intentions of coming to Earth. This in turn provides his human nemesis, Dib, with the golden opportunity he's been looking for to stop Zim from enslaving the human race.

Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus is written by Jhonen Vasquez, Breehn Burns, and Gary Wilson, and directed by Vasquez and Jake Wyatt. The film comes to Netflix tomorrow, August 16.

Invader Zim originally aired on Nickelodeon for two seasons. The show centered around an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk, as he attempted to conquer earth along with the entire human race.
