One thing about Nike? You can count on them to release a solid pack of sneakers celebrating the Chinese New Year Pack. Luckily, the brand is keeping up the tradition for 2025.

But first, a quick trip down memory lane. In 2023, Nike dropped the "Year of the Rabbit" Dunks in a dusty gray colorway. Additionally, the sneakers featured fuzzy Swooshes, almost softer than the bunny they were modeled after.

Last year, the athletic brand released a stunning gold Air Force 1 Low sneaker covered in embroidered silk. Celebrating the Year of the Dragon, the Nike shoes featured dragon and phoenix figures woven throughout the shoes, as well as Chinese symbols.

These fancy sneakers lived in my mind rent-free all of 2024.

Anyways, the year is now 2025, and Nike's giving Jordan shoes some love for the new year. Specifically, the brand's giving the Jordan 11 Low, which previously enjoyed a "Bred" treatment, a Chinese New Year makeover for the first time ever.

The Air Jordan 11 Low "Year of the Snake" sneaker sees the model's signature band made up of a snakeskin material. The iridescent mudguard shimmers with a true serpent style.

Nike's Jordan 11 Low "Year of the Snake" sneakers are expected to release on January 23, right before the Lunar New Year begins on January 29.

But let's be honest — the sooner these shoes drop, the better.
