There's no denying that the Air Jordan 4 has ruled 2024, from simmering skate-worthy variants to new paint jobs applied to the OG model. The latest drop advances the sneaker's stellar year, landing as a monochromatic grey treat dedicated to the Paris Olympics.

The Air Jordan 4 "Wet Cement" shoe may look familiar to those who regularly keep an eye out for sneaker updates like CNN. The greyed-out pairs surfaced earlier this year but under a different name, "Paris Olympics."

Even as we gaze at these crystal clear images from Nike, the Jordan 4 still isn't very Olympic-y, appearance-wise (more KAWS-esque than anything). But the Parisian spirit lurks within the shoe's grey walls, according to Nike.

The Jordan 4 "Wet Cement" sneaker is particularly inspired by Paris's cobblestone streets. Nike says the sneaker "evokes [the streets'] rustic yet sophisticated aesthetic."

The Air Jordan 4 sneaker cleans up well with the tonal grey outfit (shocker — the model almost always looks good in its colorways), complete with creamy nubuck leather and slightly fuzzy suede touches.

Embodying the scenery of this year's Olympics destination, the Jordan 4 "Wet Cement" arrives just in time for the Summer Games, set to hit the streets on July 27.

For those building a solid Olympics rotation, the cobblestone-inspired steppers will be available on Nike's SNKRS app and at select retailers.
