Jordan Brand revealed its Spring 2022 collection over the weekend, giving all of us a better look at what to expect next year. In addition to some exciting releases, it was also revealed that Jordan Brand has raised the prices of most of its retros, meaning some models, including two colorways of the Air Jordan 3 and 4, will now cost $210 at retail. Other models have been reportedly bumped to $200, while the Air Jordan 1 stays put at its current price tag of $170.

This, of course, caused quite a stir on social media, with users firing comments back and forth under images of the upcoming sneakers. Some claimed it was inevitable, considering the worldwide inflation due to the Coronavirus pandemic, while others said they were used to it, since Jordan Brand sneakers have been getting consistently more expensive over the years. Many users were upset, however, as $200 + is a lot of money to pay for mass-market, general release sneakers.

Highlights from the Jordan Brand Spring 2022 collection include a reverse Royal Nike Air Jordan 1, dubbed “Marina Blue,” an “Arctic” Nike Air Jordan 5 Low, “Infrared” Nike Air Jordan 4, and “Cardinal Red” Nike Air Jordan 3. The two special edition colorways in the collection priced at $210 are the Phil Jackson-inspired “Amethyst Wave” Nike Air Jordan 4, and the “Muslin” Nike Air Jordan 3 (which some people, surprisingly, have compared to the A Ma Maniere 3s). Check both out below.
