KAWS has just teased a sunglasses collab with Sons + Daughters and the shades are predictably adorable.

The artist took to Instagram to show off the whimsical pair of sunnies in a pink colorway and an all-black version. The circular frame outlines tinted glasses marked with KAWS' signature X's over the eyes. However, the key detail is the hinge where two KAWS Companion arms are depicted grasping the circular frames.

So far there is no word on when the collab will launch, but it seems like an unusual time to tease sunglasses with winter currently making its overcast comeback. Perhaps that in itself is a style statement by the artist: who says you need sunshine to wear your shades?
