Double Tap to Zoom

A week after Kanye West debuted eighth studio album ye in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the G.O.O.D. Music founder joined Kid Cudi in Santa Clarita, California last night to premiere the pair’s joint album, Kids See Ghosts. The exclusive listening party was set to stream via the WAV app — only for technical issues to dash the hopes of those listening from home.

With the stream scheduled to go live at 8 p.m. PST (11 p.m. EST), users initially complained of delays, and upon going live, the influx of watchers onto WAV caused the app to crash. While some fans were able to tune in and catch a few snippets of the campfire location and a number of songs, others faced ongoing connection issues.

Needless to say, Twitter was not happy and, as always, wasn't afraid to show it. Check out the reactions below.

Kids See Ghosts is the third of five G.O.O.D. Music projects to come out within the space of a month. First was Pusha-T's new album, DAYTONA, followed by ye and Kids See Ghosts. Next up are Nas and Teyana Taylor's new records. Let's hope their streaming parties don't experience similar issues.

In other music news, check out Tyler, the Creator's new song "435."
