After Kobe Bryant won his first NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers during the ’99-’00 season, he gave a championship ring to his parents, Joe and Pamela Bryant. Now, one of those rings is up for auction, and according to TMZ, it's set to fetch over $250,000.

The 14 karat gold and diamond championship ring is apparently identical to those worn by Kobe, Shaquille O'Neal, and the rest of the Lakers. This specific ring belonged to his father (his mother's ring was already sold by Goldin Auctions for $206,000).

Goldin Auctions expects at least a quarter-million from the ring sale. That taking could be much more, particularly if you include the other Kobe memorabilia up for auction — there's a worn and signed cast from 1999 when Kobe broke his wrist (an estimated $20k), a very rare Topps Chrome Refractors rookie card from ’96-’97 (estimated $75k), and a signed basketball (estimated $20k).
