For its next trick, Louis Vuitton is bringing back a tech artifact: The iPod. Ok, so not literally but Louis Vuitton releasing an iPod-shaped cross-body pochette. Oh the nostalgia.

The rectangular bag, which looks like a smaller version of the house's "Amazone" cross body, takes the shape of an oversized music player, except made of leather.

But Louis Vuitton’s Apple homage goes deep: A small window, designed to mimic an iPod screen, displays a fully charged power bar in the corner, a play button, and "Louis Vuitton Collection Spring 2025," written where you'd expect to see a song title.

There’s even a tab in the shape of LV’s monogram meant to recall the iPod scroll wheel. And, most cleverly, the timestamp for the purse’s “song” reads 18:54, referencing the year Louis Vuitton was founded. Aw.

Even the zipper pulls are thematic, made in the shape of wired earphones and patterned with Louis Vuitton's signature monogram print that looks good on even the oddest LV designs, lobster bags and all.

Now, this specific bag (iPurse?), available March 13 on Louis Vuitton’s website for about $1,500, might not actually play music butLouis Vuitton does offer functional (and expensive) tech gear, including a pair of $1,000 wireless earphones.

So, if you want to spend a band on a pair of headphones that’s just as easy to lose as your cheaper pairs, there you go.

Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2025 leather accessories collection also includes a cassette player-inspired cross-body bag and cassette tape-shaped card holder.

Throwback music gizmos were clearly the motive this season. Call it Pharrell-ification.

As I watched Louis Vuitton remake the last 50 years of audio artifacts in its image, I couldn't help but wonder: Did LV kill the radio star?

Or did it just make him the head of its menswear collection?
