On what would have been Mac Miller’s 28th birthday, January 19, celebrities and fans alike took a moment to remember the late rapper.

Mac Miller's brother, Miller McCormick, shared a childhood picture on Instagram, along with a heartfelt message. "Sitting by the window in the hospital after your birth is a good first memory," McCormick wrote. "Man I’m so proud of you. And I miss you. I’m mad that we won’t be sitting on a porch talking about baldness. And babies," he continued.

Meanwhile, Ariana Grande shared a video of Miller and his dog, Myron. In the video, Mac Miller can be seen playing the keyboard with his back turned against the camera. Other celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to Miller as well, including Kehlani, Juicy J, and Thundercat to name a few.

Miller passed away on September 7, 2018, after an accidental overdose from counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl. Since then, the rapper’s posthumous album, Circles, has been released, completed with the help of Jon Brion, who also worked on Miller’s fifth studio project Swimming.
