The shoes have become a go-to for everyday wear, and its signature V logo is easily recognizable. Now, the label has teamed up with Marni to create a two-piece collection taking on the label's classic V-10 and V-15 sneaker.
Instead of keeping Veja's signature minimalist look, Marni has gone above and beyond to cover the silhouette in colorful doodles. Giving the shoes a DIY-inspired look, the sharpie markings represent Marni's approach to fashion – creativity.
Over the past few months, plenty of people have been obsessing over Marni's mohair cardigans and colorful shoes, all arriving in fun color combinations, patterns, and other expressive designs. Basically, no piece is ever boring.
Of course, the trainers also come with their element of responsibility. The soles are crafted from 31% Amazonian rubber, 22% rice waste, and 12% recycled rubber, and the laces are 100% recycled polyester. The leather is sourced from Uruguayan farms, and tanned in a gold-certified tannery.
The collaboration might not be your everyday trainers, but it is a fun approach that sees Veja take a step outside its normal comfort zone, and truly embrace color and fun.
