Continuing our partnership with the world's most respected automaker, we present "The Sound of Pure Performance." The latest spot follows up last year's test drive of the GLA 45 AMG and our tour of London in the Mercedes-Benz CLS 220 BlueTec.

To capture the engineering behind Mercedes-Benz's latest achievement, we hooked up with pro surfer Marlon Lipke in the south of Portugal. Contrasting the beastly 6.3-liter V8 engine of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 with the fury of the Iberian peninsula's powerful waves and dramatic cliffs, the "Sound of Pure Performance" shows what happens when trained expertise meets the laws of nature. In land and on water, the result is the same. Sharp turns, and a feeling of lightness mixed with absolute control and clarity accompany the oncoming rush.

Those in the proverbial driver's seat will understand.
