A pair of Nike Air Jordan 1s Michael Jordan wore during a 1985 game are heading to auction at Sotheby's, WWD reports. The auction is taking place from today and the pair is expected to fetch between $100,000 - $150,000 — though, thanks to the success of ESPN's documentary The Last Dance, that price could end up much higher.

The vintage mids were created exclusively for Jordan. They feature red laces, longer Nike swoosh logos, carry the first Air Jordan insignia, and the Nike Air logo on the tongue. Jordan's signature can be seen on the right pair. The shoes were designed by Peter Moore, made their debut in 1984, and were later dubbed "Chicago" in order to set the colorway apart from similar silhouettes.

Sneaker collector and owner of Shoezeum, Jordan Geller said, “These are the most iconic and coveted sneakers of all time. Owning this pair has been a real pleasure, and with all the excitement surrounding Michael Jordan and ‘The Last Dance’, my wife and I decided that it’s time to let the shoes find a new home.”

The auction will run at Sotheby's from today, May 8, unit May 17. Find out more and see the exact pair at auction here.
