The first teaser trailer for Mindhunter season two just dropped and it takes us right into the belly of the beast. The next installment of the Netflix show will focus on two of the most notorious killers in history: Charles Manson and David Berkowitz, aka Son of Sam. Watch above.

With episodes directed by David Fincher, who also executive produces alongside Charlize Theron, the drama series chronicles the early days of criminal psychology and criminal profiling at the FBI. The second season sees the return of agent Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff), agent Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), and professor Wendy Carr (Anna Torv), who unite to tackle the Atlanta child murders of the late ’70s and early ’80s, during which at least 28 children, adolescents, and adults were killed.

Mindhunter season two lands on Netflix on August 16.
