Editor’s Notes: Burton’s mine77 just unveiled a fresh 13-piece collection for Late-Summer 2019 featuring a range of essentials that’ll transition easily into cooler temps with style. Launched by Jake Burton Carpenter, founder of Burton Snowboards, late last year, mine77 is Jake’s creative outlet and allows him to distill the essentials of snowboarding and present them in a way that’s obsessively his own.
Some of our favorite pieces include a festival anorak jacket, which was born out of Jake’s own experience with his kids. “I’ve gotten into attending music festivals with my sons and one thing I’ve learned the hard way from the experience is the importance of a good quality rain jacket,” Jake explained.
The salvage-fabric flannel is a completely up-cycled creation utilizing Burton’s excess fabric that they’ve acquired over the years, ensuring no two pieces are exactly the same.
