Ahead of New York Fashion Week, Major League Soccer and adidas descended upon the Big Apple with FORWARD25, a celeb-packed event to introduce the 2020 performance kit collection.

The event went down on February 5th and created a buzz with a fashion show that featured celebs as models wearing each club’s jerseys. Actor Colin Hanks sported the Los Angeles Football Club, musicians Majid Jordan represented Toronto, and gamer Ninja wore the New York Red Bulls jersey, to name a few. This year marks MLS’ 25th season celebration, and the night hosted some OGs, including Alexi Lalas, Jamie Moreno, and Marvell Wynn, among others.

The jerseys all include adidas’ iconic three-stripes along with unique details for each of the 26 team collections. Another visual detail of note is this season’s name and number font. The all-new typeface was created by Rick Banks of Face37, an award-winning graphic design studio.
