Editor’s Notes: Just because it uses outdoor-gear technology, doesn’t mean it has to look like it does. At least that’s the thinking behind Moncler’s “Perfecting Hanover” range. Part of the Moncler Collection, “Perfecting Hanover” takes materials and technologies worthy of winter treks but packs them into clean, elegant silhouettes that, in Moncler’s words, speak to “the mentality of the modern professional.”
The Hanoverian parka, which gave rise to the collection, is the centerpiece. A delux version of the winter staple, the below-the-knee down quilted parka finished in nylon laqué with a detachable hood and a two-way zipper covered by storm placket with snap closures (there are those trek-ready details we mentioned).
Other pieces in the range include the Bess, a blend of parka and blazer, and the Monch, a sleek quilted down jacket.
