New Balance Made a Pumpkin Spice-Flavored Dad Shoe for Spring
Leave it to New Balance to make a pumpkin-spice-flavored dad shoe work for the spring.
The Boston sneaker brand has cooked up a new 991v2 "Vintage Sports" sneaker, dressed in a nice "Potter's Clay" scheme. It's essentially a rust orange colorway inspired by classic clay tennis courts.
And although designed for the warmer season, the rich colorway feels very fall-worthy. More importantly, it's like a pumpkin-spiced latte in dad-shoe form.
New Balance has always had a way with color schemes, so much so that the brand can make even fall-coded designs pass the vibe check for spring.
It also helps that the New Balance 991v2 sneaker features nice materials, like plush suede and breathable mesh. After all, it is another Made in U.K. model, so it's better than the normally good New Balance sneaker.
And there's no waiting for them, either. The New Balance 991v2 sneaker is now available on the brand's website for $270.
2026 is secretly turning into the 991's year. So far, New Balance has released several impressive versions of the dadcore sneaker, including cream-colored croc skin pairs and suave grey options.
Add these England-made, spice-dusted steppers to the list, too.
