The sun's finally out, so New Balance is bringing out the dad sandals.

For the Spring/Summer 2026 season, the sneaker brand has cooked up something, well, fresh, a Fresh Foam 710 V1 sandal, to be exact.

Its upper features a combination of breathable mesh and leather layers plus sturdy straps. Underfoot, ultralight, ultra-cushioned Fresh Foam soles bring the same level of comfort and thick-soled energy as seen with New Balance's high-tech running models and trail shoes.

The 710 V1 sandal is essentially a Fresh Foam runner in summer clothes.

It is certainly just as stylish as the other Fresh Foam cousins, arriving in clean tonal colorways like "Linen" (beige) and black. But it's still rugged enough to get the day's work or adventures done.

New Balance's Fresh Foam 710 V1 sneaker-sandal is mostly available overseas right now, with stores like Mita Sneakers offering them for around $60.

These could be another region-exclusive, which has been the case with New Balance's other chunky sandals like the Breeze Mary Janes and hiking-ready Kave model. And let's not forget the 9060 Summer mules.

But hey, at least these Fresh Foam sandals will get to see the light of day. R.I.P to those previous unreleased pairs. You would've been a smash-hit with the uncles and dads at the BBQ.
