New Balance's "barefoot" sneakers have never been sweeter. Nor flatter. Seriously.

The Boston brand's latest MT10o sneaker variation appears in this pink metallic colorway that's tastilly and officially known as "Rose Sugar/Pink Taffy."

Too many sweet treats are a good thing for these super-flat New Balance sneakers. Talk about a sweet tooth.

This shoe looks pretty good with its baby pink mesh underlays and shiny pink overlays, joined by thin but mighty Vibram soles and rope-style shoelaces. There's barely anything here but you can't complain about the complete package.

New Balance's Minimus sneakers have made a smooth transition to the fashion side of things, thanks to collaborations with Issey Miyake and equally stylish general release drops.

Not bad for a shoe initially intended for barefoot running and weightlifting.

Just recently, the sneaker brand gave the MT10o a sumptuous suede makeover that really made the most of the minimalist shoe's barely-there upper.

Coming up after the tasty taffy colorway, there's also a second citrusy colorway of the metallic Minimus Trail sneakers in the works.

Clearly, New Balance knows how to milk a good thing.

The lemon yellow version hasn't yet been released, of course, but it's proof of New Balance's powers of iteration.

However, the pink sugar-flavored MT10o shoes are now available on New Balance's website and at select retailers for $119.99 (basically $120).
